Welcome to Cohesion Counts, an online resource for anyone interested or involved in designing, commissioning, delivering or evaluation community cohesion projects.
This site is the result of a project to develop ways of building and measuring cohesion, which would then be shared with other organisations. We looked at building cohesion in areas of existing housing and in new build developments, and at ways to measure its effects.
The wider partnership approach to Cohesion Counts has considerably enriched the end results.

In July 2008 we were awarded £100,000 from the Housing Corporation’s Innovation and Good Practice (IGP) fund to develop a new range of cohesion projects. The investment was match funded by the Pathfinder and Oldham and Rochdale’s Councils.
